THRIVENT CHOICE DOLLARS ~ BRINGING GENEROSITY TO LIFE
Downtown Mitchell First United Methodist Church is now enrolled in Thrivent Choice. So, what does this mean? 1. Our church will appear in the Thrivent Choice online catalog. 2. Thrivent Choice reflects the heart of Thrivent- empowering clients with memberships to live generously and make an impact on the organizations and causes they care about most.

After June 18, luminaries may be purchased at Hitchcock Park for $10 each. Fill the form out and attach your money with a paperclip. Tonya will take care of the rest. There are forms available at one of the high-top tables in the Gathering Area. If you have any questions-please let us know.
LITTLE FOOD PANTRY
Our church Little Food Pantry continues to be a resource for individuals and families in our community. We stock it every day. Thank you for your kindness and support in this project and in serving others.
VERSE FOR REFLECTION: Colossians 3:12-14
As God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience. Bear with one another and, if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

Our Father, who is in heaven, honored be your name. Your kingdom Come; your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. And lead us, not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For yours, God, is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, now and forever. Amen
