THE VISION OF THE UMC

Next Sunday will begin a 3-part sermon series focusing on the new vision statement of the United Methodist Church. The United Methodist Church forms disciples of Jesus Christ who, empowered by the Holy Spirit, Love Boldly, Serve Joyfully, and Lead Courageously in local communities and worldwide connections.

ATTENTION MOMS!

A new ministry called “Common Grounds: Downtown Moms” has begun, we meet downstairs in the Youth Room. Moms are invited to gather for coffee, connection, and encouragement while kids are in Sunday School. No prep, no pressure- just a welcoming place to relax, breathe, and belong.

For those of you who like to have a reading plan, Pastor Keith has developed a plan for 2026 in which we’ll read together through Paul’s letter, which makes up about 2/3 of the New Testament. This reading plan will take us chronologically through Paul’s letters and we’ll be reading 1-2 chapters a week. You can pick up a reading guide on the tables at each entry to the Worship Center or at the Welcome Desk by the church office.
