AUGUST “ONE THING”

Our August “One Thing” is Macaroni Noodles for Mitchell Weekend Snack Pack Program. The noodles will be packaged with ingredients for a family to make a hotdish for a meal.

GARDEN SURPLUS

If you have excess garden produce, you are welcome to bring it to the church. There is a produce table in the Gathering Area. If you need/want the veggies, please leave a donation in the basket and take them with you. The money benefits World Hunger.

ADULT BIBLE STUDY

Dive into the Blessings of Revelation as we begin a new study in September. We will be looking at the book Blessed: Experiencing the Promise of the Book of Revelation. We will meet on Wednesday evenings at 7pm beginning September 3rd and on Sunday mornings at 9am beginning September 7th. This will give you two options to attend each week. There are books and study sheets in the office with Tonya. The books cost $11/ea.

BE THE HANDS AND FEET OF JESUS-VOLUNTEER TODAY!

We have an amazing volunteer opportunity for you!  Shape young lives and help children and youth grow in their faith! We have a wonderful team of family ministry volunteers, and we provide support and training to help you succeed. There are many roles available: Sunday School Helpers, Youth Leaders and Helpers, Coordinating Children's Ministry, or inspire our young people through your musical gifts! Will you consider joining our team and help make a difference?

VERSE FOR REFLECTION: Psalm 90:1-2 NLT

Lord, through all the generations you have been our home! Before the mountains were born, before you gave birth to the earth and the world, from beginning to end, you are God.

SUNDAY SCHOOL AND YOUTH GROUP REGISTRATION

If you haven’t registered your child for Sunday School or Youth Group yet, please stop by the office and fill out the registration form. Each year we ask parents to register their child/children so that we have current information on file. If you have any questions, please let us know.

SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS AND HELPERS

This will be a brief informational meeting regarding Sunday School (pre-k thru 7th grade) which is on the calendar to begin on Sunday, September 7th, so please plan on attending. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come; they will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
