VERSE FOR REFLECTION: Romans 13:8-9 (CEB)

Don’t be in debt to anyone, except for the obligation to love each other. Whoever loves another person has fulfilled the Law. The commandments, don’t commit adultery, don’t murder, don’t steal, don’t desire what others have, and any other commandments, are all summed up in one word: You must love your neighbor as yourself.

LIVESTREAM

As of February 1st, our livestream platform (Livestream) was bought and changed to Vimeo, a completely new platform. Since this time, we have been experiencing some unfortunate events. We understand that this may be frustrating, so we are asking for patience and understanding and maybe a few prayers as we learn about this new platform. If anyone knows web design and is willing to help with this, please call the office. Thank you!

COMING SOON!

Once again Family Ministries will have an Easter Art Event. A canvas with instructions will be available Sunday, March 3rd.  Families and individuals are encouraged to participate.

PRAYER FOCUS FOR LENT

Our prayer focus for Lent is “Create in me a clean Heart, O God”. Psalm 51:10 At our Ash Wednesday service a heart with a magnet attached was made available for people to take home as a reminder. There are baskets at each entryway to the worship center containing these magnets. Please feel free to take one or two and place them somewhere that you will see it daily and remind you to pray this prayer, just as King David did so many years ago.

HORNS AND HALOS LENTEN STUDY

Pastor Keith is going to lead a study during Lent looking at what are referred to as the seven deadly sins, but also looking at the corresponding seven life-giving virtues. The study is being called “Horns & Halos.” Sin isn’t a popular word in our world today, but it is very real and present. But the good news of our faith is that we don’t have to be dominated by sin. The virtues of the Christian Faith can help us experience freedom from sin. There are workbooks available for $14 in the office if you are interested. The study will begin Sunday, February 25th at 7pm.

BUTTER BRAID SALES

Our youth started selling Butter Braids. This is a fundraiser for their youth activities, camps, and mission trips. Contact any of our youth or Cindy to place an order.
