Our March “One Thing” is laundry detergent (no pods) for Loads of Love Youth Laundromat. Rocs and MSD Caring Closet have created a safe and welcoming environment where preschool-college students can take their laundry needs without any cost barriers. This is located at ROCS, 201 E. 2nd Ave., Mitchell.

APRIL “ONE THING”

Our April “One Thing” will be bottled water for our Mitchell Public Service Personnel.

BUTTER BRAIDS

Butter Braid delivery date is April 1 at 6:30pm. Thank you for your orders. This is a yearly fundraiser that our youth use the funds for youth activities, camps, and mission trips. So, thank you again for supporting our youth!

MAUNDY THURSDAY COMMUNION & REFLECTION

Come into the Worship Center on Maundy Thursday, April 2 for a time of quiet reflection on Christ’s last meal with His disciples. The space will be open throughout the day for prayer and reflection. Self-serve communion will be available all day beginning at 9AM. Pastor Amber will be offering communion from 12-1PM and Pastor Keith will be offering communion from 6-7PM. All are welcome to stop in, spend time in prayer, and remember the love and sacrifice of Christ.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY

We will complete our current Lenten study on Wednesday, April 1st. Our next study will be an Adam Hamilton study on World Religions beginning on Wednesday, April 8th. This is a 6-week study that will give us some insight into how Christianity and other world religions compare. Looking forward to some good conversation and sharing. Books are available and are in the office for $15 each. Let Natalie know if you have any questions.

CAMP SUNDAY

Join us on April 19th at 10:00 AM for a special worship service led by our youth as we celebrate the joy and impact of camp. Following worship, stay for lunch and camp-themed activities as part of our April Family Fun Event. We hope you’ll join us!

VERSE FOR REFLECTION: 1 Corinthians 15:54-57

When this perishable body puts on imperishability, and this mortal body puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will be fulfilled: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
