CHURCH DIRECTORY PHOTOS

We have a studio for church directory photos set up in our chapel for easy and convenient access. All are welcome to have their photo taken for church directory purposes. Also, if you can take pictures and are willing, we need you! We are looking for individuals that would be willing to take pictures prior to and following worship for a few Sundays in October and in November. We will have a camera available to use. If you are interested in taking pictures for us, please let Tonya or Pastor Keith know.

BISHOP’S THANKSGIVING OFFERING

This year’s Bishops Thanksgiving Offering will help support Feeding South Dakota and the Great Plains Food Bank, vital ministries that provide nourishment to thousand of our neighbors across the Dakotas. There will be a locked box in the gathering area for your donations. May your gratitude this Thanksgiving overflow into acts of grace.

 GRATITUDE AND GENEROSITY

As we approach November, our hearts and minds begin to focus on gratitude and thanksgiving. There truly is so much that we have to be thankful for. But a part of gratitude is also generosity, our giving of ourselves because of what we have received. As followers of Jesus, we are called to be both grateful and generous- these two qualities simply go hand in hand. We will explore this theme as part of our “Faith, Hope, Love, and Life” sermon series leading up to Thanksgiving. Please join us for worship in November as we give thanks to God and also live out generosity in our daily lives and our walk of faith.

“A CHILD IS BORN”

Advent will soon be here, and we’ll be looking toward Christmas and all that it means for our lives and faith as Christians. Bishop Lanette will be leading a study on the book “A Child Is Born” on Monday evenings December 1-22 via Zoom. Participants can join in from home. We are planning on having a group meet at the church too. More details to follow. You can order the book on your own, or if you’d like we can order a quantity through the church office. Let Tonya or Pastor Keith know if you’d like to get your copy of the book through the church.

YOUTH GROUP NEEDS YOU!

Our weekly youth group is thriving with 25-30 kids each week- and we need more adult chaperones to stay in compliance with our Safer Sanctuaries policy. No teaching required! If you can volunteer for just one hour once or twice a month (or even every 6 weeks), we’d love to have you. There is a signup sheet on one of the high-top tables in the Gathering Area by the welcome sign or Contact Pastor Amber or Tonya if you’re willing to help or have questions. Reminder - Middle School will meet from 6:30-7:30 and High School will meet from 7:30-8:30.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS

Sunday, November 16th at 7:30PM we will have our church conference here at the church. More information to come. All are welcome.
