EASTER LILIES

If you are interested in purchasing a lily, please fill out the Easter Lily card that is provided for you and turn it into the office. The cards are located at the entrances of our worship center. The cost is $18 each and the deadline to order is Sunday, March 24th.

EASTER ART PROJECT

The Family Ministry team is excited to introduce the Easter Art Project for 2024, “Our Wondering Hearts.” There is a table in the gathering area with the canvases and instructions. All ages are invited to participate! We ask that you bring them back by Sunday, March 24th.

For over 80 years, Abbott House has devoted their work to providing transformative therapeutic support services for the betterment of youth across the state of South Dakota.

MARCH “ONE THING”

Our March “One Thing” is liquid laundry detergent for The Helping Hand Pantry. The Helping Hand Pantry helps those in need of hygiene items.

We have cards available at each entrance to the Worship Center with our Holy Week Services listed. Please take a couple and invite your family and friends to join us for one of our services during Easter.

This week Natalie is starting a short 7-week study called “One at a Time”, by Kyle Idleman. There will be no book needed. Study will be Sundays at 9am and Wednesdays at 7pm.

COURAGEOUS CONVERSATIONS

It is important to learn to talk and listen to one another in respectful ways, even when we may disagree. This is the goal of the organizers of Courageous Conversations and a series of discussions that will be held at DWU. The point is to help our community experience respectful dialogue on difficult topics. The next topic is Should South Dakota Eliminate the 4.5% Food Tax? Tuesday, March 19th, 7pm at the DWU School of Business, Innovations and Leadership Room 117. All Courageous Conversations are free and open to the public.

KONNECT WITH KEITH

If you are interested in learning more about our church and becoming a member, Pastor Keith will lead a membership class” Konnect with Keith” on Sunday, April 7th at 11:30am. Lunch will be provided and will conclude by 1:30pm. If you are planning on attending, please call the church office so we can plan accordingly for lunch, 605-996-7721.

INVITE ONE PERSON

The Communications Team has launched a new campaign for 2024 to encourage growth and internal volunteerism, participation in FUMC committees, and attendance at in-person or virtual worship services. Please invite one person to attend worship service, to volunteer on a committee, or to help with an event.
